premier gets stuck while exporting video

I recently switched to an Arc a770 GPU, from a GTX 1660 super.

For some reason, now, whenever I try to export a 1 hour long video, the progress bar gets to about 60 to 70 percent and then just stops.

I checked task manager and the CPU usage drops, but premier still keeps using up 50+ gigabytes of RAM without any progress.

I've searched for solutions on Google, but haven't found anything.

Shorter videos work just fine, I'm just confused on why its getting stuck.

Anyone know how to solve this?

Ok, try this.

This is not a solution but a check to determine where it fails.

1)Â Put your sequence in another sequence (nest), and split it in half.

2)Â Render each half and see how it goes.

The idea is to try to determine if theres something wrong with the video – plugin – effect or if its your pc – program.
